Chart Position: 3rd Worldwide Gross: $1,515,047671 The untimely death of star, Paul Walker, was always going to ensure that the fan-fare surrounding the latest instalment in the Fast franchise was going to have a little more impact and exposure, and as a consequence the film placed third in the worldwide charts. Moreover, like Jurassic World before it (well technically after it, but before in regards to this list), the film found its way onto the All Time Top 10, too, placing sixth. For the best part of fifteen years, The Fast And The Furious series has been building and building, starting out as pretty cult fare but ultimately growing into what it is now: an absolute blockbuster behemoth. The Fast franchise, in converse to many others, actually gets better with age, and Furious 7 serves as one of the best entries yet. Making up what is essentially Universals own pack of superheroes, the Fast films have increasingly become one of cinemas guaranteed money-makers, and with Furious 8 due in 2017, expect this trend to continue.
