Chart Position: 15th Worldwide Gross: $466,183,544 Nearly as bad is this, Hotel Transylvania 2, another Adam Sandler vehicle that nobody, not even the kids it's intended for, needed. The follow up to the superior Hotel Transylvania, this one sees Dracula (Sandler) and his friends try and bring out the 'monster' in his halfling grandson - or something, it really doesn't matter. Co-starring Andy Sandberg, Selena Gomez, and, of course, Kevin James, the film is again helmed by Genndy Tartakovski, a talented director of animation behind the likes of Samurai Jack and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Still, thats not enough to raise Hotel Transylvania 2 out of the doldrums, the film serving as one of the most forgettable childrens movies in recent memory. It ended 2015 as the 15th most watched picture of the year.
