5. Coco

Box Office: $550 million approx at the time of press (#16)

With Toy Story 3's Lee Unkrich at the helm, it shouldn't have surprised anyone that Coco was going to be another emotional, visually stunning treat from Pixar.

A haunting meditation on impermanence and the pains of existence wrapped around beautiful visuals and endearing characters, Coco is above all else a celebration of living, and if you're not left mopping up tears by the end, were you even watching?

It's not perfect and doesn't quite reach the upper echelons of Pixar's recent output, but it's nevertheless a riveting reminder of just what they're capable of outside of the franchise conveyor belt.
