In The Tall Grass has been discussed for a while now, as director Vincenzo Natali has wanted to make it since 2015 without any progress. But now Netflix have kick-started the project, which will be written and directed by Natali and is coming in 2019.

So far, there's been news of James Marsden being lined up to star in the adaptation, but he's already bowed out because of scheduling conflicts and the always under-rated Patrick Wilson came in in his stead. The rest of the cast has so far been named as Laysla De Oliveira, Harrison Gilbertson, Avery Whitted, Rachel Wilson, and Will Buie Jr.

It will be based on the novella about a pair of inseparable siblings that King wrote with his son Joe Hill in 2012.
