The Role: Y2J plays Bruce, a ride attendant at Universal Studios, amid chaos which apparently sees the ride he's operating get destroyed by falling sharks. For extra kicks, he's wearing a hilariously garish shirt and gets to share a scene with protagonist Tara Reid, of all people. Why It's Unexpected: Jericho isn't a stranger to SyFy fare: he appeared in 2006's Android Apocalypse, but even so, the guy's acting career is sparse at best outside of the wrestling ring. Plus, Sharknado's supposed to be for washed-up entertainers, and Jericho is so, so far above that label. Will It Work?: Totally. His infectious personality and immense comic timing has served him extremely well as a wrestler, so there's no reason to expect any different here. Plus, it's very likely he's going to meet an extremely gory and unpleasant end, which will no doubt be GIF'd by the Internet Wrestling Community mere seconds following its broadcast.
