20 Idiotic Decisions Made By Characters In The Dark Knight Saga

6. Bruce Wayne Trusts Selina Kyle Immediately After She Double Crosses Him Three Times In A Row - The Dark Knight Rises

World's smartest detective? Hm. Having discovered that Bane is lurking beneath the sewers in his super secret hideout, our hero Bruce Wayne contacts Selina Kyle and arranges for her to lead him to the deadly villain, because that's what she does. It's important to recall that at this time in the story, Kyle has double crossed Bruce Wayne on three separate occassions - there is literally no reason why he should trust her, given her case history. And yet, presumably because he's bumped his head one too many times at this point, he goes with her anyway. To quote a famous fishy friend, of course, "it's a trap!" As Selina leads him to the supposed hideout, Bruce is locked inside a chamber as a very muscular Bane emerges from his hiding place, ready to open a can of whoop-ass on our Dark Knight. Bruce stares confusedly at Selina, of course, shocked that she could have done something like this to him. But why does he look so hurt by her betrayal? All she's done is betray him for the first hour of the movie... over and over again. He really didn't suspect that her intentions might have been terrible?
