20 Idiotic Decisions Made By Characters In Quentin Tarantino Movies

19. Mia Mistakes Vincent's Heroin For Cocaine (Pulp Fiction)

One of the most memorable sequences in Pulp Fiction occurs after Vincent Vega (John Travolta) scores some heroin and is tasked by his boss Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames) with taking out his wife, Mia (Uma Thurman). After an enjoyable evening at a restaurant where the two appear to bond, they return to the Wallace homestead, and Vincent goes to the bathroom. While he's in there trying to keep his libido at bay, Mia reaches into his coat pocket and finds what she believes to be cocaine, but of course, it's Vincent's heroin. Mia quickly snorts the heroin and soon overdoses, causing Vincent to fly into a panic and have to revive her with an adrenaline needle in the infamously wince-inducing sequence at Lance's house. Now, Mia may not have been thinking straight considering that she's addicted to coke and all, but just inhaling that mystery substance that might be cocaine and might be something else isn't a fantastic idea. Still, unlike a lot of the characters on this list, at least she lived to tell the tale (or not tell it, as she and Vincent agreed).
