20 Idiotic Decisions Made By Marvel Film Characters

4. Trevor Slattery Gets Wrapped Up In The Mandarin Saga (Iron Man 3)

For the sake of a big house, lots of money and a few attractive women, would you make it look as though you were responsible for a series of terrorist attacks that had killed thousands of innocent people? No? Thought not. The life Trevor Slattery received as a result of his Mandarin act was undoubtedly a luxury one - one that any man would love to have - but to do something so vile in order to gain it (and something that made him a target for the likes of Iron Man) is quite simply stupid. Slattery was a washed up, alcoholic British actor and, for him, "any role was a goal". Taking on the mantle of the Mandarin, putting his face on global television, and making it look as though he was responsible for such horrible atrocities was stupid, however, and something that would be a no-no in just about any sane and non-idiotic person's book.
