2. Sending Men In Against Lorelei (Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.)

After the events of Thor: The Dark World, when the Dark Elves invaded Asgard, Lorelei exploited the commotion caused by it by breaking free from her cell and escaping to Earth. Lady Sif soon came to Earth to warn S.H.I.E.L.D. about Lorelei's little visit and S.H.I.E.L.D. were, therefore, in the know about the fact that Lorelei possessed the magical ability to charm and control men in to doing her bidding for her. So why the hell, therefore, did S.H.I.E.L.D. send in a team of operatives to apprehend her which consisted of a load of men? Idiots. Grant Ward - one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s then major assets - was controlled and kidnapped by Lorelei. The espionage organisation shouldn't have been in the least bit surprised by this outcome, following on from their stupid plan to take her down.
