16. "Best Job I Ever Had." - Fury
Another movie sorely in need of some levity is David Ayer's brutal World War II flick Fury, which it finds in one memorable quote repeated by the entire central squad led by Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) throughout the film. "Best job I ever had", he declares, a testament to the bond he feels with his soldiers and that, no matter the deaths and the hardships they face, he pretty much couldn't imagine himself being anywhere else. By the end of the movie, even the reluctant soldier Ellison (Logan Lerman) can't help but agree. In a lesser movie, the quote could easily come off as forced or even cheesy, especially considering the nature of active combat, but given how much the movie focuses on the relationship between these men, it works against the odds.
