9. Wonder Man

While Marvel might want to avoid using his name seeing as there's a Wonder Woman movie just around the corner, Simon Williams being brought into The Avengers franchise is long overdue. A long serving member of the team who played into their adventures in a major way for decades, Wonder Man is an incredibly powerful hero made of pure ionic energy. He actually started off as a villain before switching sides and has served as a love interest to both the Scarlet Witch and Captain Marvel over the years, so a new version being introduce in the latter's movie makes perfect sense. Even if he doesn't have his powers when we first meet him, Simon could be given a really interesting story arc there which leads to him taking on a larger role when Infinity War hits. In all honesty, Wonder Man isn't a character who will probably ever star in his own solo outing, but everything from his Hollywood career to occasional impulses to do bad would be fascinating ground to explore in future Avengers movies, especially if it leads to the introduction of his brother, the Grim Reaper! For the time being though, Simon being Carol's love interest in Captain Marvel would work well enough.
