20 Marvel Characters Who Must Be Introduced In Phase 3
16. Captain Britain
We have a Captain America, so why not Captain Britain too? While some might dismiss him as a knock off of Steve Rogers, there's a lot more to Brian Braddock than that. His origin story is tied into the mythology of Merlin for starters, so his movie could delve into just as many new areas of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Strange is going to this November. Throw in the fact that Captain Britain has ties to the Marvel Multiverse and the Captain Britan Corps, and a solo movie after an introduction in Phase 3 would really shake up all of these movies in a major way. An obvious place to introduce the good Captain is in Avengers: Infinity War, especially as that sort of global threat would explain why Earth's Mightiest Heroes might enlist some help from overseas. The only potential problem here is that the character might be owned by Fox because of his sister being Psylocke, but seeing as Captain Britain most definitely isn't a mutant, chances are Marvel do hold those all important rights.
