While we'll soon be getting a Captain Marvel movie, what about Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan vintage)? Rumours persist that she's going to be the focus of John Ridley's secret Marvel TV series on ABC, but that would arguably be a waste. Instead, the Captain Marvel loving Kamala Khan should make an appearance in the main movie, perhaps being utilised as a sidekick of sorts to Carol Danvers. The stage for that happening could certainly be set there anyway, but given her age, another option could be to make Kamala one of Peter Parker's fellow high school students in his movie next year. As for how she could be gifted powers, well, while Marvel Studios has largely ignored the events of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. up until now, their use of the Inhumans could work well for Kevin Feige's plans in this instance and allows them to skip an overly complicated origin story for the current Ms. Marvel. A Muslim Pakistani-American teenager from New Jersey, Kamala would bring some much needed diversity into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and her popularity in the comic books definitely points to there being interest in seeing her in live-action. So, while she may not get her own movie in Phase 3, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Ms. Marvel factor into Marvel's plans over the next few years in some form!
