20 Mind-Blowing Easter Eggs Hidden In Your Favorite Horror Films

11. Night Of The Creeps References Monster Squad Before It Even Came Out

Before his hit monster mashup movie The Monster Squad, Fred Dekker came out with Night of the Creeps in 1986.

In this flick about teenagers fighting back against alien parasites, some graffiti in a bathroom scene reads "Go Monster Squad!"

Unlike most of these tributes and crossovers, though, what's great about this is that Monster Squad wasn't even out yet; Dekker wouldn't release that movie until the following year, so nobody seeing Night of the Creeps in theaters would have any idea what this was referring to.

Basically, this was the horror equivalent of Pixar sneaking in an Easter egg related to their next project in every film.
