20 Mind-Blowing Easter Eggs Hidden In Your Favorite Horror Films

2. Saw Secretly Gives Away Who The Killer Is In The First Act

It comes as a massive shock at the end of the first Saw when it's revealed that the killer is John Kramer, a guy we saw in the hospital in the first act. If you were paying really close attention, though, you theoretically could have guessed that.

About 20 minutes in, there's a flashback in which Gordon is talking to a group of medical students about his patient, John. The camera briefly cuts to a closeup of the man, and you'll notice that in the notebook in front of him is a drawing of the reverse bear trap, which we later see Jigsaw use on Amanda.

It's one of those amusing Easter eggs clearly only thrown in for fans watching for a second or third time.

That said, what's weird is that as of this scene, Jigsaw had already deployed the bear trap on Amanda, so what's he doing sketching it out here? Maybe he was brainstorming bear trap 2.0, and he doesn't mind just casually laying out his murder plans for everyone to see.
