20 Mind-Blowing Facts About Alien Movies
7. Alien 3 – David Fincher Vs 20th Century Fox
You’d think after finally clawing its way out of development hell and securing David Fincher as director that the production of Alien 3 might finally go a little more smoothly. You’d be wrong.
Fincher, who was making his directorial debut with Alien 3 and was determined to make something at least halfway decent, found himself constantly at loggerheads with the studio who were more concerned with making money than anything of any merit.

Fincher, who described the experience of directing Alien 3 as ‘a baptism by fire’, has since disowned the movie.
