17. Joss Whedon Didn't Like The Ending Either

As great as The Avengers was, fans still gripe about how Loki's army of Chitauri soldiers all conveniently fell to the floor when Tony Stark launched that missile into the attacking hoard's spaceship. However, even Joss Whedon would later admit to not being a fan of how things ended, stating: "Kill the head, all the soldiers are dead. I wanted the Avengers to have a moment of triumph, but I€™m not fond of this device." The upside to this is that Whedon will have more than likely thought of a better way to deal with Ultron's army of sentries in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
