16. There Could Have Been A Jinx Movie

Likewise, just as Bond has never produced a (successful) TV series, it's odd that it has never spawned any spin-off films. There was once an idea for one, however, and it's from an unlikely source. The only proposed Bond spin-off would have been an offshoot of the underwhelming 40th anniversary film Die Another Day, in which Halle Berry would have returned to play American NSA agent, Jinx Johnson. Not much is known about what was planned to have happened in the proposed film, but the Bond producers must have felt that the action-orientated Jinx was a strong enough character to lead her own film. While that remains to be seen, it's probably best this never got off the ground, what with Halle Berry's other spin-off film, Catwoman, being awful.
