20 Mistakes You Probably Missed In Ghostbusters Movies

18. What Happened To The Neck-Tie?

When Ray unwittingly unleashes the Stay-Puft marshmallow man on New York, the creature manifests in full costume including a red neckerchief, but when the Ghostbusters attempt to bring it down with their proton streams, his neckerchief conspicuously disappears.

17. Bouncy Debris

Aside from some visible wires and mechanisms that can be forgiven as the limitations of film-making 30 years ago, the effects of Ghostbusters stand up pretty well - that is, aside from the horribly obvious foam rubble. In the first movie when the building explodes and debris rains down, a giant piece bounces off what should be a comparatively flimsy wooden police barricade, instead of flattening it. And then in the sequel, when the team are underground investigating the river of ooze, they break down a wall and Ray sits on a piece of the rubble, which bends under his weight. So either New York has terrible geology, or someone didn€™t do enough to hide the fake stones.
