20 Moments That Will Define Upcoming Marvel Movies

10. The X-Men (Re)Unite... Or Not (X-Men: Apocalypse)

X-Men: Apocalypse is said to be set in the 1980s, so it will be interesting to see which group of characters come together to put a stop to the threat of the titular villain. The 1980s fall in between the events of X-Men: First Class and a lot of what went on in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the events of all of the other X-Men movies - the latter of which will not actually have happened in the X-Men: Apocalypse timeline. So which route is it going to take? Is Magneto going to be friends with Professor X? Will there be two factions of X-Men or will all the mutants join forces to defeat Apocalypse? Essentially, we don't really have any idea at the moment, thanks to the confusing and conflicting events that have occurred thus far in the X-Men movies, so it will be pivotal to see who is on who's side in X-Men: Apocalypse.
