20 Most Anticipated Horror Films Right Now

3. 4: Apocalypse (2014)

Rec4 The series of Spanish horror films has been consistently entertaining and this one sees a return of the original director, Jaume Balaguero, as he continues his story directly after the events of part two. The film has already premiered and is getting a Halloween release in Spain. The film picks up right after television reporter Angela Vidal is rescued from the apartment block, but with no recollection of events. She is transported to a high-security oil tanker for tests but, unbeknown to the soldiers, she is carrying the deadly virus which could take them all down. After a brief mis-step with 3 it€™s good to see the original director back in control and taking €˜his€™ story forward. The oil-tanker idea sounds a bit Resident Evil though but, with a firmer focus on zombies (or €˜infected€™) than that Hollywood series, there is a more of a chance of true chills coming from this great Spanish horror series.
