20 Most Anticipated Horror Movies Of 2025

After spending over a decade in development, the Wolf Man remake is almost upon us. Despite being a culturally relevant property since the dawn of cinema, werewolves haven't made a massive impact on the big screen in decades, so it would be nice to see these cursed creatures have a resurgence.

Although 2010's The Wolfman was gravely disappointing, things are more optimistic this time around. 2025's Wolf Man will be written by the same team behind Insidious and Orange is the New Black, but more importantly, Wolf Man will be directed by Leigh Whannell, who has showcased his writing and filmmaking talents on Insidious, Saw, and Upgrade. Since his Invisible Man remake was so well-received, there's no question that Whannell is more than qualified to take charge of the latest Universal Monster project.

An American Werewolf in London may be the gold-standard of werewolf flicks, and here's hoping Whannell's version will likewise be something special.
