After spending an eternity in development hell, the film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy's was released last year.
Critics may not have been impressed, but Emma Tammi's jumpscare-a-thon scooped up almost $300 million, making it 2023's most successful horror by a mile. For this reason, it was no surprise to hear Five Nights 2 is in the works, with Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard set to reprise their roles.
The plot is unconfirmed but the first film's end credits dropped a major clue of what the future might bring. In the last few seconds, a distorted voice spells out the words, "COME FIND ME." This references a specific mini-game in FNAF2, suggesting the next movie will adapt the first gaming sequel.
On top of that, the My Grandfather Clock melody plays while the credits come to a close, which is the theme song for a major antagonist in FNAF2 called The Puppet.
