Acquired by Netflix from Warner Bros. back in April, Enola Holmes is sure to be one of the year's most star-studded Netflix Originals, with a cast including the likes of Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Sam Claflin, Helena Bonham Carter, and Burn Gorman.

Brown stars as Sherlock Holmes' younger sister Enola, in a film based on Nancy Springer's The Enola Holmes Mysteries novel series, while Cavill plays Sherlock himself, and Claflin will appear as their older brother Mycroft.

Fleabag and Killing Eve director Harry Bradbeer helms, while the script has been penned by Jack Thorne (The Aeronauts, His Dark Materials), so there's plenty to be optimistic about.

While it's sensible to be slightly wary about movies acquired by Netflix from major studios, that often speaks more to their lesser commercial viability than their actual artistic merit.
