1. Silver Surfer's Board (Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer)
The coolest item belonging to a heroic character in a comic book movie is undoubtedly the Silver Surfer's board. First of all, it's a freakin' surfboard! A shiny silver surfboard. How cool is that? But second, and most importantly, it grants him awesome powers. The Surfer didn't really display any super-strength, though it's fair to assume he had at least an element of it. He did, however display great durability - it enabled him to grab the Human Torch, in his flame form, by the neck without being burned and it enables him to bear the rigours of high-speed space travel. On that note, it also gives him the ability to fly (or surf) at high speeds - fast enough to traverse the universe looking for planets for his former master, Galactus, to devour. He also possesses powerful offensive capabilities in the form of energy blasts. It is assumed that it was these energy blasts which enabled him to blast large holes in the Earth's surface to prepare the planet for consumption by Galactus. Perhaps his coolest ability, however, is the ability to affect matter on a molecular level. This enabled him to pass through a solid building as though it was water and allowed him to absorb a missile that was fired at him in to his board harmlessly.
