5. "What Killed The Dinosaurs? The Ice Age!" - Batman & Robin

Depending on your perspective, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Freeze is either the saving grace of Batman and Robin or the reason why it sucks so fierce. Though his litany of ice-related puns throughout the film do raise some easy laughs, some of them are so thoughtless and tangential that they end up eliciting sighs rather than mercy laughs.

The worst of the lot sees Arnie asking Batman and Robin, "What killed the dinosaurs? The ice age!" While most of the other gags at least have some sort of cursory link to whatever's happening on screen, this came wildly out of left-field and was the most staggeringly lazy effort to get yet another apparently necessary ice pun in the film.
