Wreck-It Ralph may not have been a monstrous box office hit on the level Disney have been putting out lately, but it was a strong success all the same, and has a passionate fanbase who have been begging for a sequel ever since its 2012 release.
A follow-up has been discussed constantly since the first movie hit, but was only officially confirmed this past summer, complete with a release date and premise. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman will return for the sequel, which sees Ralph leaving the arcade to "wreck the Internet"...whatever exactly that means.
Director Rich Moore has also said that he's currently negotiating with Nintendo to give Mario a part, which would be the icing on the cake, really.
