Release Date: November 23, 2016 Whilst nobody is quite sure who, exactly, has been hankering for Bad Santa 2 over a decade after the release of the original, it would be silly to pretend that the idea of watching Billy Bob Thornton reprise his role as Willie T. Stoke will be anything but joyous. What better antidote is there to all that naff Christmas cheer than a Bad Santa sequel, huh? Directed by Mark Waters (of Mean Girls fame), who takes over from Terry Zwigoff, Bad Santa 2 has been in production for a hell of a long time, and now - after it seemed like it might never happen - the darn thing has an official release date and everything. Bad Santa getting a follow-up might seem weird and unnecessary, but now that it's here it's hard not to feel a little giddy at the sheer notion of it - especially since Tony Cox is back, too, and the movie will bring both Christina Hendricks and Kathy Bates into the fold.
