10. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

Release Date: October 21, 2016 Little is known about Never Go Back, except for the fact that it will star Tom Cruise as the titular character, Cobie Smulders as the female lead, and that it is set to be directed by Edward Zwick (who Cruise worked with on The Last Samurai, back in the day). It wasn't clear at first as to whether 2012's Jack Reacher pulled in enough dosh to morph the film into a fully-fledged franchise, but here we are: the sequel is set for release at the end of the year, and as with every Tom Cruise movie of recent times, you can probably expect something rather satisfying to sit down to ("Bang for your buck," as Tom would say).
