Release Date: March 25, 2016 Despite the fact that this sequel looks invariably better or worse each and every time we get a glimpse of some new footage, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - the "sort of" sequel to Man of Steel - still stands as one of the most anticipated follow-up flicks of 2016. And really, how could it not? This is the film that offers comic book fans the chance to watch The Dark Knight duking it out with Krypton's Son; who isn't curious to see how it goes down, with Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor playing the two iconic heroes off against one another? Whether or not Batman v Superman will actually be any good, well... that's another matter entirely. Director Zack Snyder epitomises the "hit and miss" variety of director, after all, whilst the film appears to be packed out with too many plot strands and narrative threads. And yet there's still hope for this one, as some of the trailers tease an interesting, physical powerhouse of a blockbuster. Warts and all, it's hard not to await this with baited breath.
