Billed As: The thirteenth entry in the X-Men movie series follows five young mutants just discovering their abilities who are held in a secret facility against their will. Will they be able to escape?

Hype: Said to be the final installment in the X-Men series, introducing new characters now could go either way, but so far it looks like it’s gonna be decent. The five new mutants are portrayed by a mixture of young actors, including the well-known Anya Taylor-Joy (Split), Maisie Williams and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things).

Now that there are two Game of Thrones stars in the X-Men universe (Williams along with Sophie Turner’s Dark Phoenix), it’ll be intriguing to see how well they cope with their magic abilities.

The New Mutants also looks pretty scary as a pure horror movie, which is an entirely different tone to the others in the franchise. Hopefully it will follow through and deliver a thrilling look into these new characters and the facility they’re trapped in.
