11. The Dead Don't Die

Billed As: Set in a small peaceful town, three bespectacled police officers (Adam Driver, Bill Murray and Chloë Sevigny) and a Scottish morgue worker (Tilda Swinton) band together to defeat the undead.

Hype: When it comes to filmmaking, Jim Jarmusch is no stranger to the weird and wonderful. After exploring vampires in Only Lovers Left Alive (2013), it’s only natural that Jarmusch explores – and resurrects – the dying zombie genre.

His idiosyncratic style blended with the comedy horror genre is highly anticipated, especially with such a star-studded cast. Driver’s character looks to be one that many will be able to identity with – he’s the first to deduce it’s probably zombies and will end badly, which is a refreshing take on the usual ignorance of many characters.

Iggy Pop also appears as a zombie which sounds pretty fun. Jarmusch has always worked closely with musicians and is known for scoring his own movies. It’ll be interesting to see what he comes up with for this one.
