20 Most Iconic Movie Deaths Of All Time

13. Quint - Jaws (1975)

Quint Jaws Death
Universal Pictures

From his nails-on-a-chalkboard introduction where he promises the residents of Amity 'the head, the tail, the whole damn thing' to his ultimate fate as lunch for a problematic mechanical shark via the iconic Indianapolis monologue , Robert Shaw's Quint is without a doubt the most bad-ass person in both real life or fiction to ever sport a bandana and muttonchops combo.

During the movie's nail-biting third act when the shark officially grows tired of messing around and attacks the Orca directly, Quint has the misfortune of sliding right into the animal's... jaws... where it chomps down on his legs as he lets out a blood-curdling scream. Even though his boat is ruined, Quint probably couldn't care less as he finds himself on the menu for a 25-foot great white, eventually being dragged to the depths as the water turns claret around him.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
