11. Tomb Raider (51%)

Though 2018 sadly didn't see Hollywood finally serve up the first critically Fresh video game adaptation, they got pretty damn close with two movies: Tomb Raider and Rampage.

Both films currently hold a 51% rating, with Tomb Raider's 5.4 average score just barely stealing the "Best Reviewed Video Game Movie" crown away from Rampage's 5.3.

It's a dubious honour for sure given the lack of strong competition, but even so, Tomb Raider was marketed like a 20-30% movie, so to see it near-double that prediction is certainly impressive in its own right.

Fingers crossed that this summer's Pokémon: Detective Pikachu will finally be the film to give gamers their first ecstatically-received video game film.
