Nicolas Cage's Pig is one of the most pleasantly surprising movies of the year, a tender and shockingly thoughtful film about loss, memory, ambition, and of course, food.

Easily the most unforgettable and brilliant scene occurs when Rob's (Nicolas Cage) quest to retrieve his kidnapped truffle pig leads him to Derek (David Knell), a former chef at Rob's old restaurant who now runs his own pretentious fine dining establishment.

Over the course of a single conversation, Rob quietly but firmly breaks Derek's spirit by reminding him that he always wanted to run a traditional pub rather than a fancy, trend-driven restaurant.

Both Cage and Knell act the absolute hell out of the scene, which is simply staged to focus on the two actors' faces as Rob smashes through Derek's facade of happiness, and in turn convinces him to reveal who stole his pig.
