Why It's Great: You could cut the irony with a knife. Whilst there has been some debate as to whether Reed's song is actually a direct reference to heroin use, there's no doubting that it works perfectly for this bittersweet scene. Renton might be flying high but he's also in danger of losing control. The lyrics 'you're going to reap just what you sow' are very fitting.
