19. Night Has Fallen
Though the third entry into the Gerard Butler-starring "Has Fallen" franchise was its lowest-grossing film by quite a margin, it was also by far the cheapest to produce, and so still managed to near-quadruple its modest $40 million price tag at the box office.
A fourth film, Night Has Fallen, was officially greenlit in November 2020, with Butler and Angel Has Fallen director Ric Roman Waugh set to return.
With production set to kick off in Bulgaria later this year and the series' tendency for a speedy post-production turnaround, a 2022 bow seems dead certain despite no official release date yet being confirmed.
As long as Nick Nolte reprises his role from the previous film as Mike Banning's (Butler) surly father Clay, it's all good.
