16. Puss In Boots: The Last Wish
Remember Puss in Boots? The beloved Shrek sidekick got his own spin-off movie back in 2011 - a film which grossed $555 million worldwide, was nominated for the Best Animated Feature Oscar, and has basically been totally forgotten ever since.
That a sequel has taken an entire decade to materialise at DreamWorks is, frankly, shocking, though is largely due to company's corporate restructuring over the last few years.
Last August, the final title was revealed as Puss in Boots: The Last Wish - changed from the original 2014 title Puss in Boots 2: Nine Lives & 40 Thieves - and Joel Crawford (The Croods: The New Age) was later confirmed to be directing for a September 23, 2022 release date.
Most importantly, of course, Antonio Banderas will be once again lending his velvety vocals to Puss.
