19. The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard - Richard E. Grant + Tom Hopper

The Silencing
Lionsgate

Release: August 28th

One of the highlights of the oddball action comedy The Hitman's Bodyguard, was the character Mr. Seifert, a drug addicted executive played with effortless goofy charm by Richard E. Grant. Seifert was a client of Ryan Reynolds' Michael Bryce, an executive security agent assigned to protect him. The character is the antithesis of Grant's Thrones character, the flamboyant playwright Izembaro.

Grant's character is back again for the sequel, the terribly titled The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, but it is good to know that Mr. Seifert is likely to find himself facing more issues this time around.

Grant will be joined by fellow Throner Tom Hopper in the role of Magnusson. There is little detail as yet to what this character's motives are or for whom he is working for, but if he is half as loveable as Dickon Tarly then we can only hope he is on the right side of the Ryan Reynolds/Samuel L. Jackson combo.
