20 Movies Starring Harry Potter Actors Coming In 2017

Long before he was making tween hearts throb as the undead Edward Cullen in Twilight the fresh-faced Robert Pattinson played Cedric Doggery, an ill-fated wizard schoolboy who met a sticky end in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Since then he’s made some questionable movie choices, the Twilight franchise included, but has been back on form lately with critically acclaimed performances in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis and David Michôd’s dystopian drama The Rover. Hopefully he’ll continue this trend with his forthcoming films, one of which is Western comedy drama Damsel.

The movie will reunite Pattinson with his Maps to the Stars co-star Mia Wasikowska and focuses on a businessman who travels out to the Wild West to marry his fiancée. Pattinson isn’t exactly known for his comedic roles but as Damsel features the talents of David and Nathan Zellner, who also made the critically praised 2015 drama Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter, it could very well be a great career move.
