Masterful stop-motion filmmaker Henry Selick makes his long-awaited return - some 13 years after his acclaimed last movie, Coraline - with Wendell & Wild, a dark fantasy comedy co-written by Selick and one of the film's stars, Jordan Peele.

Peele re-teams with his old pal Keegan-Michael Key to voice the titular duo, a pair of demonic brothers who require the help of 13-year-old Kat Elliot (Lyric Ross) to help bring them to the Land of the Living.

The supporting cast cast includes, among many others, Angela Bassett, James Hong, and Ving Rhames.

From what we've seen so far, Wendell & Wild looks gorgeous, and given Selick's incredible track record to date, it's easy to have faith in this being one of the year's very best animated offerings.

Wendell & Wild releases in October.
