Amongst the aforementioned treasures in Odin's vault was the Orb of Agamotto. In the comic books, it is an item utilised by Doctor Strange to scry (remotely view) events from afar and has also been used to create gateways between dimensions. It's certainly no coincidence that this item was seen in Phase 1 and Doctor Strange is coming in Phase 3. It will definitely be seen on screen again - perhaps Doctor Strange will be able to open a gateway to it from Earth and some of his titular movie will be set on Asgard or maybe it will somehow make its way to Earth before Doctor Strange's movie (perhaps Thor will bring it to Earth in order to combat Ultron). The more likely scenario, however, is that it will be utilised by Strange in the Infinity War movies. Either way, Doctor Strange isn't Doctor Strange without his most trusted accessory.
