Predicted Critical Consensus: "Deadpool 2 is a worthy superhero sequel thanks to its expanded cast, riveting action sequences and uproariously ribald humour."

Though in many respects Deadpool 2 looks like it might actually be an improvement upon its predecessor, it doesn't seem likely that critics will necessarily feel the same way, considering the tendency for a character like Deadpool to feel more grating and less unique the second time around.

The original film scored an impressive 83%, and so a drop to 71% for the follow-up feels about right. With the introduction of Cable (Josh Brolin) and a hopefully less-generic narrative, Deadpool 2 could very well score better with audiences than its predecessor, while critics will mark it a little lower but still broadly praise it.
