Predicted Critical Consensus: "Avengers: Endgame delivers a bleak yet ultimately crowd-pleasing climax to Avengers: Infinity War's devastating cliffhanger."

The Russo brothers proved with Infinity War that they're not filmmakers to buckle under immense pressure, and so it's easy to have faith that the finale to over a decade of MCU movies is going to be well worth the wait.

It probably won't quite please everyone by its sheer nature, but the Russos have proven their aptitude at delivering measured, mature superhero movies that satisfy both the heart and the mind.

It sure sounds like Endgame's going to take some ambitious creative gambles, and they're most certainly going to pay off.
