4. White Slave

Released in 1985, this exploitation picture was actually titled Cannibal Holocaust 2 in some countries. Why? It has absolutely nothing to do with Cannibal Holocaust except that it's also about a tribe of cannibals. Imagine doing that today: just claiming a not very good movie is a sequel to a better one in order to draw in viewers. In White Slave, an 18-year-old girl goes to the Amazon on vacation with her parents, her aunt and her uncle. Of course, a tribe comes out of nowhere, beheads her parents and kidnaps her, and so she has to integrate herself into the natives' society if she wants to escape. She's there for a full year while trying to plan an escape as well as revenge for the death of her parents. This movie is just unbearably sleazy, full of an absurd amount of male and female full frontal nudity along with a few horrifying rape sequences. There are four beheading scenes, one of which looks disturbingly realistic, and of course plenty of animals die. Despite being marketed as a cannibal movie and featuring a tribe of cannibals, never is human flesh consumed. They decided to give the title Cannibal Holocaust 2 to the one film of this kind to not show people being eaten.
