20 Sick Cannibal Movies You Need To See Before You Die

13. Eaten Alive

Not to be confused with the 1977 Tobe Hooper movie about a killer crocodile, Eaten Alive follows a woman, Shelia, searching for her sister Diana, who has gone missing in the jungles of southeast Asia. They'll soon find out that the sister has joined up with a cult, and though these aren't even the cannibals yet, the next sequences are still incredibly disturbing. In by far the craziest moment, the cult leader actually rapes Shelia with a dildo covered in snake blood. Do you think they made this unpleasant enough? That's not even the only rape scene, either. Later, when Shelia and Diana try to escape, they just get caught by a second cult, this one consisting of the cannibals. Now Diana is raped and killed, and so the entire mission was a failure. As the title promises, people are indeed eaten alive, with their skin cut off and consumed while they scream in pain and their intestines are ripped out of their body. Needless to say, Eaten Alive is relentlessly sickening, but unlike something like Cannibal Holocaust, it isn't even in service of a compelling story. By the end, you feel like you have been tortured for an hour and a half yourself, left with a bunch of imagery that you will never forget (as much as you'd like to).
