20 Sports Documentaries You Must See Before You Die

19. More Than A Game

Anyone who has watched basketball for a long time knows that every generation has a player that stands out compared to everyone else. From Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and the late, great Kobe Bryant, NBA fans have seen outliers shine on the court for a number of years.

The most recent generational star has to be LeBron James. His rise in the NBA has not only been meteoric, it's also been consistent, which is the most impressive part of his career. However, it took a lot for him to get where he is now and he didn't do it by himself, which is what makes his documentary, More Than A Game, so incredibly interesting.

The film follows James and his teammates in the AAU league as the five members of the squad begin to show their promise as players. While James is the only one out of the team to achieve superstardom, it's still an incredibly interesting look at the hype we put around young people when it comes to sports and how that can affect them.
