6. Gregory Sierra - Entek

Sierra was born in 1937, in Manhattan. He was raised by his aunt, and was of Puerto Rican descent. He played Corbin Entek in the Deep Space Nine episode Second Skin, who ends up on the wrong end of Garak's phaser. Sierra had a long career in film and television.

His film credits include Beneath The Planet Of The Apes, Pappillon, The TowerIng Inferno, and Honey! I Blew Up The Kid. His television credits are even more extensive. He was cast in Miami Vice in a leading role, though he asked to be written out of the show after four episodes. He was then replaced by Edward James Olmos.

He played Paul Benjamin, a member of the Hebrew Defence Force, in an episode of All In The Family. This dramedy had episodes that took serious turns, with his appearance counting as one of them. His character was killed when a car bomb was detonated by a neo-Nazi thug.

Along with his Star Trek credit, he appeared in Growing Pains, The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, The X-Files, and Murder She Wrote, along with dozens of other roles.

He died on January 4, 2021, at 83 years of age.
