20 Stupid X-Men Movie Mistakes You Probably Missed

2. The Magic Bullet - Logan

Wolverine Adamantium Bullet
Fox

In Logan, we're reintroduced to the Adamantium bullet that robbed Wolverine of his memory, despite everyone wanting to forgot X-Men Origins was ever a thing.

In that movie, Stryker shoots Wolverine in the head, which doesn't kill him but grants him his definitive severe amnesia. Despite that proof of it being ineffectual, Logan keeps a bullet with him and it's revealed he once considered it as a means to kill himself. You can sort of forgive him for forgetting that he didn't die the last time he was shot by one for obvious reasons, but it doesn't forgive the film-makers for the same mistake.

Because despite the same bullet only injuring Wolverine enough to cause him amnesia, when one is shot into X-24's Adamantium-clad skull by Laura in Logan, it bursts like an over-ripe pumpkin. Somehow.
