20 Summer 2018 Films You Aren't Excited About (But Should Be)

It may feel like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is never off screens in recent years, but it's been a little while since he's headlined an original, straight-up action movie. This is apparently what we can expect from his latest collaboration with Central Intelligence writer-director Rawson Marshall Thurber.

Johnson plays a former solider-turned-skyscraper security consultant who finds himself a wanted man when the trouble strikes in a prestigious new building in China. Yes, that's right: Skyscraper could be The Rock's Die Hard. (Although we should hope it'll have very little in common with the 1996 Anna Nicole Smith movie of the same name.)
